We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Life Safety Security Alarm Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Tucson, AZ. As a Project Manager specializing in fire alarm systems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, from inception to completion. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining Convergint’s reputation for excellence in the life safety and security industry.

Essential Functions

As a Life Safety Security Alarm Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing fire alarm projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their needs, developing project plans, and providing regular updates on progress.
• Coordinating with design teams to create detailed project designs using specialized design software.
• Conducting thorough code analysis to ensure all projects comply with local, state, and national fire safety regulations.
• Utilizing project management software to track project milestones, allocate resources, and manage budgets effectively.
• Overseeing installation teams, ensuring all work is completed to high standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Preparing and delivering project documentation, including reports, contracts, and technical specifications.
• Driving continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancements and implementing best practices.

Required Certifications:

• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner Certification

Experience With:

• Design Software (e.g., AutoCAD)
• Code Analysis (e.g., NFPA standards)
• Project Management Software (e.g., Microsoft Project)

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical experience, with a strong background in fire alarm systems.
• A valid electrical license for the state of Arizona.

• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $40.06 - $46.69 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
