Job Description:

Prime Partners is a leading electrical industry company specializing in commercial work, primarily new construction and big box retail. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various types of voice and data equipment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install and maintain voice and data networks for commercial and industrial clients. This includes routing and terminating cables, installing and configuring equipment, and testing the installed systems.

2. Troubleshoot and repair voice and data networks, identifying and resolving any issues in a timely manner.

3. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of equipment.

4. Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure project completion in accordance with our high-quality standards and within the determined timeline.

5. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws related to the field.

6. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally and efficiently.

7. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to keep up-to-date with industry trends and technology advancements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field or an electrical apprenticeship is preferred.

2. Minimum of 3 years experience in voice and data installation and maintenance, specifically in the commercial sector.

3. Extensive knowledge of voice and data systems, including VoIP, data networks, and fiber optic cables.

4. Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.

5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

7. Proficient in using various tools and equipment related to the installation and maintenance of voice and data systems.

8. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.

9. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

10. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

11. Willingness to travel to surrounding Tucson cities for work, including Marana, Oro Valley, Sahuarita, South Tucson, Catalina Foothills, and Flowing Wells.
