Fire Alarm Technician at Tech Electronics
Tech Electronics is currently looking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will be an expert in fire alarm system installation, programming, and testing. Experience with Notifier, Simplex, Edwards systems is required. The successful candidate will have a NICET Level II certification, a low voltage license, and an OSHA-30. Knowledge of NFPA 72, inspection procedures, and documentation is essential.
Location
The position is based in Los Angeles, CA, and may require travel to neighboring cities such as Pasadena, Long Beach, Santa Monica, and Anaheim.
Required Experience
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician
- Expertise in fire alarm system installation, programming, and testing
- Experience with Notifier, Simplex, Edwards systems
- NICET Level II certification
- Low voltage license
- OSHA-30
- Knowledge of NFPA 72, inspection procedures, and documentation
Nice to Have
- Experience in a leadership role
- Previous work in a team environment
- Knowledge of other fire alarm systems
Salary Range
The salary for this position ranges from $28.87-$36.78 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
