Position Overview at Tech Electronics
As a Fire Alarm Tech based in Los Angeles, CA, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in healthcare facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safety and compliance of these essential systems, contributing to the well-being of patients and staff. You will work primarily in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas, ensuring that facilities are equipped with reliable fire alarm systems.
Essential Functions for Fire Alarm Tech
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in healthcare facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and project managers on system installations and upgrades.
- Document all maintenance and repair work performed on systems.
Required Qualifications for Fire Alarm Tech at Tech Electronics
- 2-4 years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: Notifier Certification.
- Experience with Simplex Systems and Notifier Systems is essential.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: Edwards EST Certification.
- Advanced experience with Simplex Systems.
- Specialized experience in healthcare facility projects.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fire alarm system installation and maintenance.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Los Angeles, CA.
- Additional locations: Santa Monica, Pasadena, Long Beach, Glendale, and Burbank.
- Schedule: Full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $27.27-$33.25 per hour.
