Overview of the Manufacturing Project Manager Role

As a Manufacturing Project Manager at TEC Electric, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing industrial projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in managing industrial projects. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver successful project outcomes.

Essential Functions

• Project Management: Lead and manage multiple industrial projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, electricians, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective project delivery.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Performance Monitoring: Use project management software to track project progress and performance metrics, making adjustments as needed.

Required Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• International Project Management Association (IPMA) certification

Experience Requirements

• Proficiency with Project Management Software, Code Analysis, and Design Software
• Experience managing projects such as manufacturing plants, data centers, and processing facilities

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of electrical experience in an industrial environment
• Valid electrical license for the state of Colorado
• Demonstrated experience with project management software and code analysis tools
• Physical capability to navigate industrial sites, including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in industrial settings

Preferred Qualifications

• IPMA certification
• Experience with design software
• Previous experience managing industrial projects

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Denver, CO
• Neighboring Cities: Aurora, Lakewood, Thornton, Arvada, Westminster
• Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours, with occasional requirements for extended hours to meet project deadlines

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $35.18-$42.43 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
