Position Overview at High Point Networks
As a Cable Technician at High Point Networks, you will play a vital role in the deployment of cabling infrastructures within healthcare facilities in Denver, CO, and its neighboring cities. You will ensure the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cables to support reliable and efficient communication systems.
Essential Functions for Cable Technician
- Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot cable issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet project timelines and specifications.
- Document cable installations and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide on-site support for network infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
Required Qualifications for Cable Technician at High Point Networks
- 2-5 years of experience in cable installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: OSHA 10.
- Proficient in using Fiber Optic Tools and Cable Testers.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: BICSI Technician.
- Experience with Punch Down Tools.
- Specialized experience in healthcare facility cabling projects.
- Proficiency in using cable management software and tools.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Denver, CO.
- Additional locations: Aurora, Lakewood, Thornton, Arvada, Westminster, Centennial.
- Schedule: Full-time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $26.53-$31.34 per hour.
