Overview of the Position

The Multi-Family Journeyman Electrician at TEC Electric plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of residential electrical projects. This position requires a skilled and experienced electrician who is proficient in multi-family residential environments and can handle the complexities of custom homes and remodels. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, a thorough understanding of electrical codes, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Essential Functions

• Key Responsibilities for Residential Projects

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in multi-family residential properties.
  • Perform conduit bending to ensure efficient and effective electrical installations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan and execute projects accurately.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 4-8 years of electrical experience in a residential setting.
• Valid electrical license for the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of safety practices and procedures in electrical work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Arc Flash Safety.
• Experience with electrical code books.
• Proven track record of working on residential projects, particularly in multi-family environments.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $39.16 - $46.22 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
