Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. They will ensure that work is completed in accordance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installing and maintaining electrical systems in homes and commercial buildings.
2. Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
3. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
4. Conducting tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality.
5. Working with the team to assess, plan, and initiate projects.
6. Ensuring compliance with all safety and electrical codes.
7. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism at all times.
8. Training and mentoring apprentice electricians.
9. Responding to emergency call-outs as required.
10. Traveling to job locations in Ontario and surrounding cities including Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Chino, and Eastvale.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of California.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
3. In-depth knowledge of local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
6. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
7. Strong communication and customer service skills.
8. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
9. Must be willing to travel to job locations in surrounding cities.
