Position Overview at T&D Communications
The AV Systems Tech will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and support of audiovisual systems within healthcare facilities in Torrance, CA, and surrounding areas. This position demands a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet the unique needs of healthcare environments.
Essential Functions for AV Systems Tech
- Install, configure, and maintain AV systems in healthcare facilities.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to deliver projects on time.
- Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on AV equipment usage.
- Document system configurations and maintain accurate project records.
Required Qualifications for AV Systems Tech at T&D Communications
- 3-5 years of experience in AV systems installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: Crestron Certification.
- Experience with Biamp Audio Systems and Extron Electronics.
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: QSC Certification.
- Advanced experience with Biamp Audio Systems.
- Previous experience working in healthcare environments.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used in AV installations.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Torrance, CA.
- Additional locations: Redondo Beach, Carson, Long Beach, Gardena, Hawthorne.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $31.03-$37.32 per hour.
