Key Responsibilities
Install and configure server rack infrastructure and perform structured cabling installations. Implement efficient cable management systems, mount network equipment, and install power distribution units. Coordinate equipment deployments and maintain accurate rack documentation. Execute hardware inventory management and implement labeling systems. Maintain clean room protocols and coordinate with network teams. Work on the upcoming “Irving Tech Expansion” project, ensuring state-of-the-art installations. Adhere to Texas-specific safety regulations and ensure compliance with local codes. Collaborate with local vendors and coordinate logistics in the Irving area.
Required Qualifications
Bring 1-3 years of experience in Data Center work within a commercial setting. Demonstrate expertise in rack and stack procedures, proficiency in structured cabling, and deep knowledge of mounting systems. Showcase your understanding of power distribution and experience with inventory systems. A keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret technical documentation is crucial. Familiarity with local Irving data center protocols and regulations is a plus. Experience with Texas-specific safety certifications and local tech community engagement is preferred.
