Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years of fire alarm installation experience in a commercial setting.
• Certifications: NICET Level I preferred, OSHA-10, and First Aid/CPR required.
• Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of fire alarm systems, including initiating devices and notification appliances.
• System Proficiency: Experience with Notifier, Simplex, or Edwards systems preferred.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of NFPA 72 standards.
• Skills: Ability to read blueprints and basic electrical schematics.
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background Requirement: Ability to pass a background check.
• On-call Requirement: Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after the completion of the training period.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Install fire alarm devices, ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes.
• Wiring: Pull wire and connect systems according to specifications and blueprints.
