Qualifications
- Proficient in using conduit benders and power tools
- In-depth understanding of NEC codes
- Comfortable working on lifts and scaffolding
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with lighting control systems
- Leadership skills for mentoring apprentices
Key Responsibilities
- Install commercial electrical systems, including switchgear, panels, and transformers
- Accurately measure, cut, bend, and install EMT and rigid conduit as per blueprints
- Pull and terminate wires within conduits and boxes with secure, neat connections
- Install and wire lighting fixtures, outlets, and power circuits
- Test and troubleshoot circuits and electrical components using tools like multimeters
- Collaborate with other trades to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain organized, clean work areas and adhere to safety standards
