Position Overview

Staley Technologies is seeking a skilled and ambitious Data Center Rack & Stack Technician to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. As a key player in our operations, you will lead a team of 4-6 technicians in a dynamic colocation facility setting focusing on managed service providers, enterprise clients, and cloud services. This role demands a proficient individual with 2-4 years of relevant experience, who is ready to take on challenges and drive effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of technicians in the installation and configuration of rack-mounted IT equipment.
• Maintain organization and efficiency in cable management and ensure environmental standards are met.
• Utilize DCIM software to monitor and maintain data center operations.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of power distribution units (PDUs).
• Coordinate with clients to meet specific configuration and deployment requirements.
• Travel to nearby major cities for cross-facility support and client interactions as needed.
• Collaborate with manufacturer representatives for focused training sessions.

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience working in data center environments.
• Certifications: CDCP (Certified Data Center Professional), CDCDP (Certified Data Center Design Professional).
• Proficiency in using DCIM software and cable management systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications in data center operations.
• Experience in a colocation facility serving enterprise-level clients and cloud services.
• Familiarity with environmental monitoring systems.
