Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Technician to join our Data Center division. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in fiber installations and maintenance. Key responsibilities include working on data center projects, with a focus on installing, splicing, and testing fiber optic cables. This role offers significant growth opportunities within our expanding team.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates should possess proficiency in OTDR testing, fiber splicing, and termination techniques. Experience with fiber management systems and adherence to industry standards is essential.
Core Responsibilities
- Install, splice, and test fiber optic cables.
- Manage fiber pathways and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Work in large-scale data center environments to ensure optimal performance.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Santa Clara, CA.
- Neighboring cities include Sunnyvale, Cupertino, and San Jose.
- Full-time schedule with occasional on-call duties as required.
Compensation Package
- Competitive pay: $30.64-$38.62 per hour.
