Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician
- Experience: 4+ years as a Journeyman Electrician.
- Certification: Valid California Journeyman Certification from the Department of Industrial Relations.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in NEC and renewable energy codes, especially solar and battery storage regulations.
Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician
- Install and maintain solar panels, energy storage systems, and inverters.
- Route and install conduit (EMT, rigid) and wiring for high-voltage DC and AC systems.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning for solar arrays, ensuring optimal performance and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to design energy-efficient electrical solutions.
- Supervise apprentices, ensuring safety and proper installation techniques.
