Data Center Network Engineer at Staley Technologies
Position Overview
Staley Technologies, a leader in connectivity solutions, is seeking a seasoned Data Center Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in Columbus, OH. This role involves working in cutting-edge edge data center environments, including telecom providers, content delivery networks, and IoT services. You’ll be part of an experienced 3-5 person team, offering flexible hours and opportunities for local travel within a 30-mile radius of our Columbus headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure network architectures in edge data center environments.
- Optimize network performance through regular monitoring and analysis.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues using advanced Cisco IOS and network analyzers.
- Maintain and update configuration management databases.
- Provide expertise and support during manufacturer-specific training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of professional experience in network engineering.
- Valid CCNA and CCNP certifications.
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS, network analyzers, and monitoring tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel within a 30-mile radius of Columbus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional CCNP and CCNA certifications.
- Experience with configuration management systems.
- Familiarity with edge data center operations.
