Role Overview

Join our dynamic Commercial division as a Cable Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems across various commercial projects. Your expertise will help us continue to provide reliable and efficient electrical services to our clients in office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain cable systems in commercial settings.
• Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on existing cable systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or questions.

Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years of electrical experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Terminating cat 5 and cat 6 cables.
• Patch panels, racking, and cable trays.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in the workplace.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that require climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Columbus, OH
• Neighboring Cities: Dublin, Westerville, Upper Arlington, Reynoldsburg, Gahanna, Grove City, and Hilliard.
• Schedule: Full-time position with regular working hours, occasional overtime may be required based on project needs.
