Custom Home Commercial Project Manager Role

As a Custom Home Commercial Project Manager at Rogers Electric, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing residential electrical projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of electrical systems in residential environments.

Essential Functions

• Project Management: Lead and manage multiple residential projects simultaneously, including custom homes, multi-family developments, and remodels. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate and supervise project teams, including electricians, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Promote a collaborative work environment to achieve project goals.
• Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and control project budgets. Provide accurate cost estimates and manage financial resources effectively.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Foster strong relationships and maintain open lines of communication.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Uphold safety standards and promote a culture of safety within project teams.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Utilize project management software to track project milestones and deliverables.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project-related issues promptly. Implement proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure project success.

Certifications Required: PMP, PRINCE2
Experience Required: Proficiency in Design Software, Project Management Software, and Code Analysis. Experience with residential electrical systems is essential.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of electrical experience in a residential setting.
• Must hold a valid electrical license for the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated experience with design and project management software.
• Strong understanding of physical requirements associated with electrical installations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
• Proven experience with code analysis and its application in residential projects.
• Prior experience managing residential electrical projects, including custom homes and remodels.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Jacksonville, FL
• Neighboring Cities: The position covers projects in and around Jacksonville, including nearby cities such as Orange Park, Atlantic Beach, Fernandina Beach, and St. Augustine.
• Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours. Flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines and client needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $37.22 - $43.90 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
