Fire Alarm Technician at Reliable Electric
Reliable Electric, a leading company in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a knowledgeable Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, programming, and testing of fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate is proficient with Notifier, Simplex, Edwards systems, and has a comprehensive understanding of NFPA 72, inspection procedures, and documentation. Our offices are conveniently located, with easy access for those living in neighboring cities like Marietta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, and Decatur.
Required Experience and Certifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Fire Alarm Technician role
- Expertise in the installation, programming, and testing of fire alarm systems
- Proficiency with Notifier, Simplex, Edwards systems
- NICET Level II certification
- Low voltage license
- OSHA-30 certification
- Knowledge of NFPA 72, inspection procedures, and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Experience
- Experience with other fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with local fire codes and regulations
- Proven track record of maintaining high safety standards
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $29.51-$36.78 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
