Controls Engineer at Reliable Electric

As a Safety Controls Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, taking charge of machine safety systems, safety PLCs, and risk assessments. Location

You’ll be based in Glendale, AZ, a dynamic city surrounded by Phoenix, Peoria, and Avondale. This location offers a vibrant lifestyle with easy access to a wide range of cultural and recreational activities.

Required Experience

• 10+ years experience as a Controls Engineer
• Expertise in machine safety systems, safety PLCs, and risk assessments
• Proficiency in Sistema calculations, safety circuit design, and robot safety systems
• TÜV Functional Safety Engineer certification
• OSHA-30 credentials
• Certified Machinery Safety Expert (CMSE) credentials

Nice to Have

• Experience with Allen-Bradley GuardLogix and Siemens F-CPU
• Familiarity with safety network protocols such as CIP Safety and PROFIsafe
• Experience in safety system validation and compliance assessments
