Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented and professional Voice & Data Technician to join our team at Prime Partners. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing voice and data systems for our commercial clients, mainly in new construction and big box retail.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and electronic communications systems.
2. Ensure all installations are done according to the national electrical codes and company standards.
3. Troubleshoot and repair issues with voice and data systems, and remove old equipment and replace with new systems.
4. Test newly installed or relocated equipment to ensure its functionality.
5. Inspect and service equipment on a regular basis.
6. Train clients on the use of their equipment, and provide them with information about potential signals they should monitor for.
7. Travel to various job sites within Tempe and surrounding cities.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician, or in a similar role within the electrical industry.
3. Knowledge of voice and data systems, such as VOIP, Data Networks, PBX, etc.
4. Understand and follow National Electrical Code and local building codes.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Requirements:

1. Must be able to use electrical installation tools and equipment.
2. Must be able to lift and carry heavy items.
3. Must be able to work in various weather conditions and on different job sites.
4. Must be willing to travel to different job sites within Tempe and surrounding cities.
5. Must have a valid driver’s license.
6. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
