Prime Partners, a leading electrical contractor in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a skilled Voice & Data Technician. This position will focus on providing top-notch voice and data services for our commercial clients, with a primary focus on new construction and big box retail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installing, upgrading, and maintaining voice and data systems in commercial environments, including new construction and big box retail.
2. Troubleshooting and repairing any issues with voice and data systems to ensure minimal downtime.
3. Testing and certifying all installations, upgrades, and repairs to ensure they meet industry standards.
4. Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical diagrams, and specifications to ensure proper installation.
5. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure all aspects of the project are completed on time and within budget.
6. Providing top-notch customer service, answering any questions and addressing any concerns our clients may have.
7. Adhering to all safety standards and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician in the commercial sector.
3. Strong knowledge of voice and data systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
4. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and specifications.
6. Strong communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
8. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel may be required to surrounding cities such as Long Beach, Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Irvine).

Requirements:

1. Must have a current California State Certified Electrician Card.
2. Must be willing to work on-call, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
3. Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
4. Must be able to climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and work at heights.
