Core Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to plan, layout, and install comprehensive electrical systems tailored for commercial new construction projects. You’ll be adept at reading and interpreting complex blueprints, electrical schematics, and building plans, ensuring installations are precise and effective. Your technical duties will extend to installing conduit systems such as EMT, rigid, and flex, pulling wire, and terminating connections for panels, switches, and outlets. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and repair electrical issues to maintain safety and compliance, adhering to local, state, and national codes while upholding OSHA safety standards. Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess a valid license from the CA Department of Industrial Relations. You should bring extensive experience in commercial electrical installations, particularly in power systems, lighting, and controls. You must also have the ability to supervise apprentices and effectively coordinate with multiple trades on construction sites. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician is required. Essential certifications include OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and a valid CPR/First Aid certification. Your technical knowledge should encompass understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a strong foundation in electrical theory and application.
Tools & Equipment

Compensation Package
