Prime Partners, a well-established leader in the commercial electrical industry, is seeking a skilled Voice & Data Technician to join our team. This position will primarily involve new construction and big box retail projects in Garden Grove, CA, and surrounding cities such as Anaheim, Santa Ana, Westminster, and Fountain Valley.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Installation and maintenance of voice and data systems in commercial settings, focusing on new construction and big box retail projects.
2. Testing and troubleshooting of voice and data systems to ensure optimal performance.
3. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical documentation.
4. Adherence to all safety standards and regulations.
5. Assisting in project planning and coordination.
6. Providing exceptional customer service, maintaining professional relationships with clients.
7. Collaborating with a team to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
8. Regularly reporting progress and issues to project managers.
9. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in the voice and data industry.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician.
3. Proficiency in installing and maintaining voice and data systems, preferably in a commercial setting.
4. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
5. Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
7. Strong communication and customer service skills.
8. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
9. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
10. Familiarity with the cities surrounding Garden Grove, CA, is a plus.

Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
2. Must be comfortable working at heights.
3. Willingness to travel to project sites in Garden Grove, CA, and surrounding areas.
4. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
