Qualifications for Voice and Data Installer

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Voice and Data Installer.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in low-voltage systems, structured cabling, and network hardware.
• Construction Environment: Ability to work effectively in active construction settings and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities for Voice and Data Installer

• Cabling Installation: Install and terminate CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling for voice and data networks.
• Hardware Configuration: Mount and configure network components such as patch panels, switches, and wireless access points.
• System Testing: Conduct cable testing and certification, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Pathway Creation: Establish cable pathways using raceways, conduits, and trays, complying with building and safety regulations.
