Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Garden Grove, CA (including surrounding cities such as Anaheim, Orange, Santa Ana, and Westminster)

Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, repair, and maintenance within residential, commercial, and industrial settings across Garden Grove and its surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and diagrams.
2. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
3. Performing general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspecting transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Ensuring compliance with state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
8. Directing and training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
9. Collaborating with project managers and other team members to complete projects within given deadlines.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
2. Journeyman Electrician license in the state of California.
3. Proven experience as a journeyman electrician.
4. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
7. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
8. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.

Requirements:

1. Must have a valid driver’s license.
2. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
3. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
4. Must be able to work in different environments including extreme heat and cold, crawl spaces, roofs, and confined spaces.
