Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Voice & Data Technician to join our team in Chandler, AZ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the electrical industry, specifically related to commercial work, new construction, and big box retail. The role will require the technician to provide high quality data, voice, and electrical services to our clients in Chandler, AZ, and its surrounding cities including Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, and Queen Creek.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and electronic communication systems.
2. Handle and resolve technical issues with voice and data systems.
3. Test newly installed or relocated equipment to ensure its functionality.
4. Install, maintain, and repair various types of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with NEC codes.
5. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or necessary repairs.
6. Perform general electrical maintenance on commercial buildings and new constructions.
7. Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and ensure proper usage of the same.
8. Comply with all safety procedures and requirements, including wearing personal protective equipment.
9. Coordinate with project management and other team members, ensuring timely and efficient execution of projects.
10. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a voice and data technician in the electrical industry, preferably in commercial work, new construction, and big box retail.
3. Proven knowledge of voice and data systems, as well as electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
4. Familiarity with NEC codes and electrical safety procedures.
5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
8. Must possess valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
9. Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
10. Must be willing to work in and around the Chandler, AZ area, including Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, and Queen Creek.
