What You’ll Do as a Security Alarm Installer

As a Security Alarm Installer with Prime Partners, you’ll play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients’ assets by installing and maintaining state-of-the-art security systems. Our current multi-year project in Tempe, AZ, and additional projects in nearby cities such as Mesa, Chandler, and Scottsdale, require skilled professionals who can deliver high-quality installations in commercial new construction environments. Your role is to ensure that each security system is installed with precision and functions seamlessly to protect our clients’ properties.

Daily Responsibilities as a Security Alarm Installer

Installation and Configuration

You’ll be responsible for installing, programming, and testing a variety of security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems. This involves running and terminating low-voltage wiring, ensuring all connections are secure and comply with industry standards.

Troubleshooting and Optimization

Your day will also include on-site troubleshooting to resolve any system issues and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance. This ensures that all security systems are functioning as intended and meet the specific needs of our clients.

Client Training and Support

An important part of your job will be training end-users on how to operate their newly installed security systems. You’ll provide them with the necessary knowledge to manage their systems independently and offer ongoing support to address any questions or concerns.

Coordination with Project Teams

You’ll collaborate closely with project teams to ensure that all installations align with design specifications and are completed within set deadlines. This involves clear communication and teamwork to deliver projects efficiently.

Additional Daily Activities

• Conducting site assessments to determine the best installation strategies
• Documenting installation processes and creating detailed reports
• Assisting with the maintenance and upgrading of existing security systems

Qualifications for the Security Alarm Installer Role

Experience and Skills Required

To excel in this role, you should have at least 2+ years of experience as a Security Alarm Installer. You must be proficient in configuring and troubleshooting access control and surveillance systems. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to train clients effectively.
