Electrical Trainee Position Overview

As an Electrical Trainee with Prime Partners, you will engage in a variety of tasks essential to our construction projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting electricians with pulling wire, running conduit, and assembling electrical panels. Core Electrical Trainee Responsibilities

Prime Partners’ Electrical Trainees play a crucial role in supporting our electricians across all facets of commercial electrical work. You will:

• Assist in pulling wire and running conduit for installation projects.
• Set up workstations, organize tools and materials, and prepare job sites for electrical installations.
• Assemble electrical panels and learn to read blueprints, following detailed instructions to complete basic electrical tasks.
• Participate in safety meetings to understand and apply best practices, ensuring a secure work environment.
• Develop hands-on experience with electrical tools and systems, working under the guidance of licensed professionals.
• Advanced technical duties specific to the role include troubleshooting basic electrical issues, conducting routine equipment inspections, and engaging in problem-solving activities during project execution.
• You will be involved in regional projects, including energy-efficient upgrades in Long Beach and industrial installations in Gardena.
• Adherence to safety protocols is paramount, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess a valid Electrical Trainee Card from the California Department of Industrial Relations. • 0-1 years of experience as an Electrical Trainee.
