Apprentice Electrician Position Overview
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners, your day will be filled with engaging and hands-on tasks. You’ll assist journeyman and foreman electricians in installing conduits, pulling wires, and setting up electrical panels. Core Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of conduit systems, ensuring precise bends and secure connections.
- Perform wire pulls, labeling, and routing through conduits and raceways, maintaining organized runs.
- Support the setup of temporary power systems for construction sites.
- Maintain clean and safe job sites, adhering to OSHA and company safety standards.
- Operate hand tools, ladders, and power tools under supervision.
- Learn and apply safety protocols, including proper PPE use and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Advanced Duties: Engage in complex troubleshooting under supervision, assist in load calculations, and participate in energy-efficient system installations.
Regional Project Specifics
You’ll contribute to projects that enhance the infrastructure of Marietta and surrounding areas, supporting developments that range from new corporate facilities in Sandy Springs to retail expansions in Alpharetta.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or elevated surfaces.
- Enrollment in or interest in joining an electrical apprenticeship program is a plus.
- 2-5 years minimum experience as an Apprentice Electrician.
- Essential Certifications: OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid.
- Required Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with NEC codes and basic electrical theory.
Tools & Equipment
- Daily Tools: Multimeter, voltage tester, wire strippers, and conduit benders.
