Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in the Tempe, AZ area. This individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential environments. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who is dedicated to delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
2. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
3. Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
4. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
5. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
6. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
7. Perform regular preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and electrical systems.
8. Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
9. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
10. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment.

Qualifications:

1. A valid Journeyman Electrician license.
2. Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
3. Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
4. Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
5. Proficient in the use of electrical diagnostic tools.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools.
8. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
9. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
10. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
11. High school diploma or equivalent; further education in electrical engineering or related fields is a plus.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
2. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
3. Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends when necessary.
4. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
5. Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
6. Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and operate power tools.
7. Must be willing to travel to job sites located in surrounding cities including, but not limited to, Scottsdale, Chandler, Mesa, and Phoenix.
