Job Description: Prime Partners, a leading company in the electrical industry, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems while complying with all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow the National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
9. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a journeyman electrician.
2. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
3. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
4. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
5. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
6. A state journeyman electrician license.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work experience.
2. Valid driver’s license.
3. Ability to bend, climb, lift at least 40 pounds, and perform other physical labor.
4. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
5. Experience with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
6. Proficient in the use of test meters and other related equipment to perform job tasks.
7. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and written reference material.
8. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
9. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
