Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Bakersfield, CA

Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for our operations in Bakersfield, CA, and surrounding areas, including Oildale, Rosedale, Greenacres, Lamont, and Weedpatch. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electrical industry, with a focus on installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
8. Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
9. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program required.
2. Journeyman Electrician License in the state of California is required.
3. At least 5 years of experience as an electrician.
4. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
7. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently or in a team environment. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
