Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in installing fire alarm systems in commercial properties. You will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties in Los Angeles and surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of fire alarm systems in a variety of commercial spaces, ensuring all work is done in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with existing fire alarm systems as needed.
• Perform system tests to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Regularly inspect installation sites to ensure safety and quality control.
• Provide customer service, answering questions and explaining the functionality of the installed systems.
• Work in collaboration with a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm installation.
• Must hold a valid and current Fire Alarm Installer certification.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

• Must have experience with hand and power tools commonly used in the installation of fire alarm systems.
• Familiarity with various brands and types of fire alarm equipment and systems is a plus.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

• Must always follow all company and site safety protocols.
• Must have knowledge of electrical safety procedures and be committed to working safely at all times.
