Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical field. The candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties. We’re offering a $300 sign on bonus after your first paycheck as an appreciation for joining our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the installation of electrical systems in commercial buildings following blueprints and specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and efficiency.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary adjustments or repairs, to ensure compliance with codes.
• Perform necessary repairs or replacements for faulty electrical systems.
• Coordinate with construction and project managers to ensure electrical work aligns with the overall project plan.
• Train and mentor apprentice electricians, overseeing their work for quality and safety.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

• A current Journeyman Electrician license.
• A minimum of 4 years of electrical experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

• Experience with electrical diagnostic tools and equipment, including voltmeters, ammeters, and test lamps.
• Proficient with using hand and power tools related to electrical work.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

• Familiarity with safety procedures and equipment, including the use of safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and standards.
• Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and the work area is kept clean and hazard-free.
