Service Electrician at Passion Electric

Passion Electric is seeking a dedicated Senior Service Electrician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role is critical for maintaining the electrical infrastructure of major facilities in the region, including nearby cities like Marietta, Decatur, and Sandy Springs. The ideal candidate will be an expert in critical facilities and power quality, with a focus on diagnostics, power monitoring systems, and building automation integration. Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced electrical system diagnostics using power quality analyzers, thermal imaging, and oscilloscopes.
• Troubleshoot building automation system integration issues.
• Design and implement power factor correction solutions.
• Diagnose and repair complex lighting control systems.
• Manage emergency power system testing and maintenance.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs tailored for critical facilities.
• Provide detailed repair documentation and recommendations.
• Train facility staff on proper electrical system operation.
• Coordinate with utilities on service upgrades.
• Perform arc flash assessments and labeling.
• Conduct regular power quality surveys specific to Atlanta’s infrastructural needs.
• Manage and execute service contracts for clients in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
• Ensure compliance with Georgia state electrical codes and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman License with preference for a Master Electrician.
• Advanced certifications in power quality analysis.
• Extensive experience with thermal imaging and diagnostic equipment.
• Proven expertise in critical power systems.
• Demonstrated ability in customer relationship management.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills across multiple systems and manufacturers.
• Certification in building automation systems.
• Experience with arc flash studies and safety program development.
• 7+ years of experience required for Journeyman work in a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with Georgia-specific electrical codes and standards.
• Experience in managing electrical projects within the Atlanta metropolitan area.
