Process Controls Technician at Oak Electrical
Hey there! We’re Oak Electrical, a leading player in the electrical industry. We’re currently on the hunt for a savvy Process Controls Technician to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. If you’re a pro at handling DCS systems (Honeywell, DeltaV), process control loops, and calibration of instrumentation, we’d love to chat! You’ll be a perfect fit if you’re ready to travel 40-60% of the time for plant startups and system upgrades. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
Required Experience
We’re looking for a seasoned professional with:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Process Controls Technician
- Expertise in DCS systems (Honeywell, DeltaV), instrumentation calibration, and process control loops
- Experience with analog/digital instrumentation, control valve maintenance, and PID loop tuning
- Proficiency in HART protocol, Foundation Fieldbus, and industrial networking
- ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) Level II, OSHA-30, confined space certification, and ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP) certifications
Nice to Have
While not a deal-breaker, it would be great if you also have:
- Experience with systems upgrade and plant startups
- Knowledge of neighboring cities to Richmond, VA
- Previous experience in a similar role within the electrical industry
Pay and Benefits
