As a Security Technician at MMR Group, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining security systems within healthcare facilities in Oakland, CA, and nearby areas. Your expertise in low voltage cabling and security technologies will ensure the safety and efficiency of our healthcare projects.

Requirements for Security Technician

• Key Responsibilities for Security Technician at MMR Group:

  • Install, configure, and maintain security systems such as CCTV and access control systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of security equipment.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of security installations.

• Low Voltage Cabling Installation:

  • Install and terminate low voltage cabling for security systems.
  • Test and troubleshoot cabling systems to ensure functionality.
  • Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations during installation.

• Tool Proficiency for Daily Tasks:

  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment specific to security systems.

• Daily Tasks:

  • Conduct site assessments to determine security needs.
  • Provide technical support and training to facility staff on security systems.
  • Document installation processes and maintain accurate records.

• Project Involvement:

Qualifications for Security Technician at MMR Group

• 2-4 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: ASIS PSP Certification.
• Experience with CCTV systems and access control systems.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $29.89-$37.11 per hour.
