The Security Systems Tech role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems for office building projects in Seattle, WA, and neighboring cities. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and security standards.
Essential Functions for Security Systems Tech
- Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including cameras, access control systems, and monitoring equipment.
- Conduct regular system inspections and perform necessary maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to design and implement security solutions tailored to specific project needs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for security system issues.
- Document all system configurations, maintenance activities, and client interactions.
Required Qualifications for Security Systems Tech at Mirapath
- 2-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
- Axis Certification is mandatory.
- Proficiency with Lenel OnGuard and Genetec Security Center.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and work at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- AMAG Certification is a plus.
- Experience with Axis Camera Station.
- Specialized experience in office building security systems.
- Proficiency with tools and software related to security system installation and maintenance.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Seattle, WA
- Additional locations: Bellevue, Redmond, Kent, Tacoma, Everett
- Schedule: Full-time
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $29.86-$35.55 per hour
