Position Overview at Mirapath
Join our team as a Data Center Cable Tech, where you will play a vital role in supporting and implementing data center projects for educational institutions in Culver City, CA, and surrounding areas. Your expertise will ensure the seamless installation, maintenance, and management of data center cabling infrastructure.
Essential Functions for Data Center Cable Tech
- Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables.
- Maintain and troubleshoot data center cabling infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments for new installations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Document and update cabling layouts and configurations.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
Required Qualifications for Data Center Cable Tech at Mirapath
- 3-6 years of experience in data center cabling or related field.
- BICSI Data Center Design certification.
- Proficiency with Panduit Cable Management and Corning Fiber Systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- CDCDP/CDCP certification.
- Advanced experience with Panduit Cable Management systems.
- Experience working with educational institutions or similar environments.
- Proficiency in using cable testing and diagnostic tools.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Culver City, CA
- Additional locations: Santa Monica, Inglewood, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $29.52-$35.59 per hour
