Overview:

AVI SPL, a global leader in Audio Visual technology for over 40 years, is currently seeking an experienced AV Technician to join our dynamic team in Culver City, CA. This role specializes in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting commercial audio visual systems including conference rooms, video conferencing, and digital signage.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of commercial AV Systems in corporate environments
2. Provide technical support for video conferences, remote meetings, and digital signage systems
3. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure high-quality AV services
4. Keep up with Culver City’s fast-paced and ever-changing market, adapting to new AV technologies and methods of delivery
5. Work on high-profile projects in surrounding areas, including Venice, Santa Monica, and Beverly Hills
6. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations relevant to the Culver City region and the state of California

Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of experience in AV industry, particularly in a commercial setting
2. In-depth knowledge of AV equipment including projectors, microphones, sound systems, video screens, and digital signage
3. Experience with various conferencing platforms including Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc.
4. CTS certification highly preferred, or willingness to obtain within first 6 months of employment
5. Familiarity with local industry challenges and opportunities, particularly in relation to the media and entertainment industry prevalent in Culver City
