The Cable Technician will work closely with project managers and other team members to deliver high-quality service and meet project deadlines.

Requirements for Cable Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test various types of cables, including fiber optic and copper.
• Conduct site surveys to assess and plan cable installations according to project specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure installations meet industry standards and client requirements.

Daily Tasks

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of cable systems.
• Document and maintain records of installations and repairs.
• Assist in the planning and execution of project timelines.

Project Involvement

• Participate in educational institution projects, ensuring minimal disruption to school operations.
• Coordinate with educational staff to schedule and execute installations and repairs efficiently.

Qualifications for Cable Technician at 3D Communications

• 2-5 years of experience in cable installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: OSHA 10.
• Experience with Cable Testers and Wire Mapping Tools.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: BICSI Technician.
• Experience with Punch Down Tools.
• Specialized experience in educational institution projects.
• Proficiency in using cable installation tools and equipment.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Culver City, CA.
• Additional locations include Santa Monica, Inglewood, El Segundo, and West Los Angeles.
• Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.39-$36.65 per hour.
