Requirements for Office Data Center Technician

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain data center infrastructure within commercial projects.
  • Implement and oversee environmental monitoring tools to ensure optimal conditions.
  • Utilize cable management systems to organize and protect cabling infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to uphold safety standards.

• Required Certifications:

  • CDCDP (preferred)
  • OSHA 30

• Experience with:

  • Environmental Monitoring Tools
  • Cable Management Systems
  • Lift Certification (preferred)

  • Schools

• Experience and Licensing:

  • 3-5 years of electrical experience
  • Valid electrical license for VA

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders.

• Safety Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with lift certification
• Commercial project experience

• Primary Location: Virginia Beach, VA
• Neighboring Cities: Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Hampton
• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $27.01-$32.19 per hour depending on experience
