Position Overview

The Manufacturing Journeyman Electrician at Faith Technologies is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. This position involves working on a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Essential Functions

• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and components in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, making necessary repairs and replacements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications

• 4-8 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Valid journeyman electrician license for the state of Virginia.
• Completion of relevant certifications and training programs.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as OSHA 30 or other safety-related credentials.
• Experience with specialized electrical systems, such as PLCs or automation controls.
• Proficiency with electrical software and tools such as AutoCAD or electrical testing equipment.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Virginia Beach, VA
• Service area includes surrounding metropolitan areas.
• Schedule: Full-time, with potential overtime as needed.
• Travel requirements: Occasional travel to off-site locations for projects.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $34.41-$49.02 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
