Commercial Apprentice at Integra Electrical

Integra Electrical, based in Aurora, CO, is seeking a Commercial Apprentice to join our team. This role will primarily involve projects in Aurora and the surrounding cities, including Denver, Centennial, and Thornton. Our company specializes in large-scale construction projects, and we are looking for a dedicated individual eager to learn and grow within the commercial electrical field. Key Responsibilities

• Design and install complete electrical systems in large-scale construction projects.
• Calculate load requirements and ensure systems meet project specifications.
• Coordinate with Building Information Modeling (BIM) teams for efficient project integration.
• Supervise installation crews and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Implement advanced lighting control systems tailored to project needs.
• Manage project material logistics to ensure timely and efficient resource allocation.
• Perform comprehensive system commissioning to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Install and maintain emergency power systems, ensuring reliability and safety.
• Collaborate effectively with mechanical trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Program building automation interfaces, enhancing system integration and efficiency.
• Mentor junior technicians, fostering their professional development and skill enhancement.
• Conduct site assessments to understand regional energy codes specific to Colorado.
• Ensure compliance with local Aurora building requirements and standards.
• Contribute to the development of the Aurora Civic Center expansion project, focusing on sustainable electrical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical license or equivalent certification recognized in Colorado.
• Experience with BIM coordination on large-scale projects.
• Expertise in designing and implementing advanced lighting controls.
• Proven project management skills with a focus on timely and efficient delivery.
• Certification for operating multiple lift types as required by OSHA.
• Strong leadership abilities, with experience in supervising diverse teams.
• In-depth knowledge of energy codes relevant to commercial projects in Colorado.
• Proficiency with building automation systems and their integration into larger frameworks.
• Demonstrated skills in safety management, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
• 0-3 years of experience in commercial settings, particularly in the Aurora area.
• Familiarity with regional electrical standards and Aurora-specific construction regulations.
• Ability to travel between sites, particularly within the Denver metropolitan area.
