Security Technician at IES Electric
Join our team at IES Electric as a Security Systems Installer based in Durham, NC. We are looking for a skilled professional to work on low voltage commercial projects in the vibrant city of Durham and its neighboring areas, such as Chapel Hill, Cary, and Raleigh. This role requires a strong understanding of IP camera systems, access control platforms, and intrusion detection devices. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients by installing and maintaining cutting-edge security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install security cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection devices
- Configure basic system programming
- Maintain security equipment
- Troubleshoot system issues
- Travel locally between customer sites
Required Qualifications
- ESA Level 1 certification
- Experience with IP cameras
- Knowledge of access control systems
- Clean background check
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-3 years of experience required for security work in a commercial setting
- Experience with Milestone or Genetec VMS platforms
- Low voltage license where required
Compensation & Benefits
