Background Requirements
Candidates must have extensive experience with structured cabling and be proficient in terminating fiber and copper cables. A strong knowledge of TIA/EIA cabling standards, the ability to read and interpret network blueprints, and excellent organizational skills for managing tools and inventory are essential.
Main Duties
- Install structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics.
- Terminate and test fiber connections using Fluke equipment.
- Install and dress network racks and set up cable tray systems.
- Document as-built plans and lead small project teams.
Benefits
- Salary: $25.36-$32.57 per hour, based on experience.
