Low Voltage Security Installer at AVI SPL

Position Overview

As an experienced Low Voltage Security Installer at AVI SPL in Manhattan Beach, CA, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage security systems within a professional corporate setting. You will join a dynamic and devoted team, delivering high-quality security solutions to a range of clients including Fortune 500 companies, tech startups, and financial institutions. The schedule for this role involves a first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with occasional travel to nearby major cities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage security systems including Access Control Systems, IP Camera Systems, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure security system installations meet clients’ specific security needs.
• Regularly travel to client offices in nearby major cities for installations and maintenance activities.
• Provide insightful security system advice and consultation to clients.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the installation and maintenance of low voltage security systems.
• ASIS PSP and NICET Level II certifications.
• Proficiency in the use of Access Control Systems, IP Camera Systems, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• ESA Level 2 and Security+ certifications.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
