At Bright Move Energy in Manhattan Beach, CA, we’re urgently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for our long-term projects. You’ll play a critical role in installing and maintaining electrical systems, focusing on EV charging stations. This position requires a proactive and reliable individual ready to contribute to complex projects and ensure high-quality installations.

Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician

• Experience & Certification: 3-5 years as a Journeyman Electrician with a valid certification from the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
• Technical Skills: Expertise in NEC and California Electric Code, especially in EV charging station installations. Proficient in using conduit bending tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately.

Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician

• EV Charging Systems: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for EV charging stations, including service panels and transformers.
• Conduit and Wiring: Measure, cut, bend conduit, and manage wiring to ensure compliance with NEC and state standards.
• Collaboration and Supervision: Work with project managers and supervise apprentices, promoting safety and best practices on-site.
