Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician
- Experience: 4+ years as a Journeyman Electrician.
- Certification: Valid California Journeyman Certification from the Department of Industrial Relations.
- Knowledge: Extensive understanding of NEC, solar, and battery storage regulations.
Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician
- Install and maintain solar panels, energy storage systems, and inverters.
- Route and install conduit and wiring for high-voltage DC and AC systems.
- Perform system testing and commissioning for optimal energy output.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers on energy-efficient solutions.
- Maintain battery energy storage systems and ensure proper integration.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and supervise apprentices.
